2/21/2024Important letter from Principal Shultz regarding enforcing the Dress Code Policy.Dear SLS families,
While the groundhog promised an early spring it looks like we still have a week or two of cold wintry days ahead.
In the last few weeks, we have noticed a non-compliance with the uniform policy. It is time to reestablish the importance of our Dress Code at St Leo's School. SLS maintains a dress code to promote a safe learning environment, teach respect and responsibility, and foster equality and inclusivity.
There are students wearing gym uniforms on non-gym days. Our dress code clearly states: Students must be in uniform every day unless otherwise specified. This is a requirement, and parents will be called if a child is not in uniform.
Students are required to wear their school uniforms on non-gym days. The daily non-gym uniform guidelines are in our handbook and available on the FlynnO’Hara link on the website. I have asked Homeroom Teachers to let me know and to send a warning home to parents when students are out of uniform. Subsequently, middle school students who are out of uniform will receive an after-school detention, and lower school students will receive a time out during recess. Parents will be called.
Girls and boys may wear navy blue or gray dress pants to school as part of their uniform. If a girl does not have pants, she may wear sweatpants to school, but must remove them upon her arrival. She may also wear them for recess. Please feel free to call me or your homeroom teacher if you have any questions or concerns about our policy.

REGISTRATION FOR THE 25-25 SCHOOL YEAR IS NOW OPEN! REMEMBER, EARLY REGISTRATION IS OPEN UNTIL THE END OF FEBRUARY. STARTING MARCH 1ST, REGISTRATION WILL GO UP TO $550 PER FAMILY.

The first come, first serve was stated for emergencies only. We do not have enough extra pizza to cover those who simply have pizza, although they missed the deadline. Moving forward, we ask all families who missed the deadline to please send their child to school with lunch and money to purchase pizza. If we have enough surplus on that day, we will sell the extra slices available.

NO PIZZA WILL BE SERVED ON HALF DAYS.
Please remember, SLS does not allow FAST FOOD, GrubHub, Uber Eats, or ANY FOOD DELIVERY service to students. If you are in a situation where you forgot lunch, students will be provided with a muffin and juice. If you need to drop something off, sandwiches, bagels, and salads are acceptable. Thank you for understanding.
