Grammar-Adjective and Adverbs

Directions: Complete Pages 60-65 Letter C- Write ONE sentence.

  • As a good introduction to adjectives and adverbs please watch Schoolhouse Rock videos. I have added both links.

You do NOT need to print these pages. Please use the lined paper sent home to write the answers. Use both sides to save on paper. Title the page Name, Date, Page number, and title it Grammar. IF you would like to print the pages out you may.

Week 3- Assignment dates: 3/30-4/3

Directions:

Starting this week you will be writing daily journals. Use your lined paper.  Please write your name, date, and the title of the topic on the top of the page. Continue on the same page for the whole week. Don’t forget to use the front and back of your paper.

  1. List five rooms in your house. Put them in order from most important to least important. Write a sentence next to each telling why it is ranked the way it is.

  2. Think of as many questions as you can that have “bicycle” or “bicycles”as the answer. Come up with at least 5 questions.

  3. Draw a comic strip depicting your very favorite school memory.

  4. Create your ideal (perfect) grocery list. What would be on it and why?

  5. You are walking along a beach when you find a glass bottle that has washed ashore. Inside, there is a letter. What does it say? Who is it from?

  1. Quick Lab-Page 143

  2. Read pages 316-319 in the textbook. Then complete Matching MATTER! Cut, glue, and color.

  3. Open book test. Use a separate piece of lined writing paper. Please label as usual. Name, Date, Test, Chapter 9 review in your textbook. You may use your book for help. Page 320 1-10 (you may write the vocabulary. No need to write the whole sentence. Then complete page 321 number 7-10.

  4. Read Lesson 1 in your textbook. Matter Changes Pages 325-329. Complete vocabulary in your Science Journal.

Directions:

Students who are planning on celebrating the Eucharist please Complete # ‘s 1,2,&3. Those who will not be preparing for the Eucharist please complete # ‘s 2 & 3.

  1. Use the Family Guide that goes with the Gold Book, Celebrating the Eucharist. Complete  the last two chapters and review the other chapters. In preparation for the Eucharist.

  2. Finally, please pray the rosary for an end to this virus.
