ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF 3/30
ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF 3/23
While you are home, please work on your packets. I chose the chapter about bacteria and viruses because I thought you might be interested in what is going on in the bodies of others around the world. Scientists have come up with a mixture of Malaria medicine and a Z-pack of antibiotics to stop the virus. We will see if this will be our ticket. The scientists and doctors are working very hard to find a solution. The packet has the readings, and the directed readings that you can fill out as you read. Please feel free to rip the packet apart and place them on your desk side by side. After each section there is a quiz. It is open book, as you can use your chapter readings. Please answer the questions after each section as well. Then you have a vocabulary review and a test. This is work for two weeks. Pace yourself, and know that you should be working about 20/25 minutes a day on science. If you need to stop and continue the next day on the same assignment, that is fine. The packets will be due to me when we return. Hopefully that will be sooner than later. I will be sending you a lab that goes with the curriculum that we have been doing in class. Please know that if you don’t have some materials at home, you can substitute others. the glass y tube can be exchanged for straws. If you don’t have balloons, use plastic wrap. The stopper can be a pencil eraser or rubber chair bottom. Look around your homes. When you finish it, take a picture or video and send it to me. I would like to see your work.
