We LOVE the support we are getting for all of our fundraisers and events, but we can use your help.  If you can please write separate checks/venmos for your orders, it would be greatly appreciated.  We understand it is more convenient to write one lump check, but some items are HSA, school, or outside vendors and it is very helpful to have individual payments. Also, please make sure your information is filled out completely on all order forms. Thank you!

A message from Principal Mark Shultz

On Friday, May 6, 8:15 AM, we will celebrate our First Friday Mass  (Mass of SLS Memories) by asking Fr. Nereo to bless a symbol of our eighth graders’ choosing to commemorate their SLS experience. For some, it may be a sports jersey, for others a special pin, stuffed animal, piece of family jewelry passed on for generations, or a class ring. What students choose is a family decision.

Our traditional May Crowning ceremonies will be Monday, May 9, during respective Community Times. MS will be at 8:00 AM and the LS will be at 8:45 AM.

While families are welcome to provide cut flowers for the occasion, potted plants that can last for the season are especially encouraged.

Congratulations to Saige Lindo (6I) who has been selected to represent The Broadway Originals in a performance on Thursday, April 28 at the gala for MENTOR (www.mentoring.org) a national nonprofit organization.

HOUSEKEEPING TIPS:

Please remember we are a nut-free school, so please do not send any nut products with your students for lunch.   Also, the weather is finally becoming nicer, please make sure your children have a refillable water bottle to keep them hydrated.
